This is our complete frame/body kit to stretch the frame and body of a Jeep Wrangler TJ into an LJ. If you’ve already built your TJ or are starting with a stock TJ because LJ’s are hard to find this is the kit for you. We’ve developed a simple affordable way to get the longer wheelbase and cargo space the LJ offers plus some extra benefits. Our frame and body kit automatically increases your current wheelbase by 15” and an additional 9 cubic feet of cargo space. Add in our optional under floor mounted storage box for even more space, it's perfect for some of those spare parts you hope to never need. This kit takes the stock TJ wheelbase from 93.5" to 108.5". Keeping the stock fuel tank and rear coil springs is still possible, or add a Genright fuel tank and some coilovers with our rear coilover shock towers for a longer wheelbase up to around 115".
Why go to this much trouble for this conversion you might ask? This is a major game changer for the Jeep TJ model. The LJ is sought after as the "Unicorn" of Jeep platforms to build. It's the perfect size and wheelbase for a good all around rig from mild to extreme. We've built a lot of TJ's & LJ's over the years and have found that the longer wheelbase adds so much stability for off road climbing and highway drivability without sacrificing agility. Making the Jeep so much more enjoyable to drive. The design of our cargo area creates even more space than the stock LJ body and also allows the use of a factory fold and tumble rear seat. Our upper belt rails are designed so that the front section is completely replaced leaving only 1 seam to smooth out on the top rail. Once Corner guards are installed about 95% of the sheet metal seams are covered up and only 1 seam is exposed on the inside.
NOTE: This is a labor intensive project! We recommend it ONLY be installed by a qualified fabricator/welder or competent shop. With a flat floor, precise measuring and welding it can be completed with very satisfying results. The combination of our angled frame extension and rear coilover towers yields in the most low center of gravity and up travel over any other suspension on the market.

- Installation of this kit requires a 1" body lift from the frame cut forward
- Driveshaft, brake line & suspension modifications will be required

- Stock LJ Cage & Soft Top or Hard Top will fit
